The 2026 stew resilience outlook

The next twelve months will reward organizations that can discuss stew with confidence while quietly preparing for everything else.

1. Supply is becoming a boardroom topic

Ingredient disruption is no longer a detail for the procurement appendix. It now affects financial plans, reputation, and the willingness of senior leaders to use the phrase "business as usual."

2. Governance will move closer to the vessel

Organizations are reducing the distance between the people who observe stew conditions and the people who can authorize a response. The change is operationally sensible and, in some cases, emotionally overdue.

3. Simplicity will be reintroduced as strategy

Complex portfolios create optionality until they create a spreadsheet. We expect greater emphasis on fewer formats, clearer decisions, and broth programs that can be explained without a workshop.

4. The prepared will call it discipline

Resilience is rarely dramatic at the moment it is needed. It looks like preparation, a fallback position, and someone who has already thought about the potatoes.
